French Metabolic Summit
Why this summit
Metabolism, the common denominator
A growing body of evidence shows that metabolism is a common denominator across many chronic conditions. Yet this dimension remains under-explored in everyday clinical practice.
The French Metabolic Summit was created to address this need, around conditions that share a common metabolic origin: obesity, type 2 diabetes, metabolic syndrome, neurodegenerative disease and psychiatric disorders.
A conference designed to
- Understand the pathophysiological mechanisms of metabolism
- Bring academic research and clinical practice into dialogue
- Offer tools that can be applied directly in consultation
An initiative of Dr Anne Lucas, PharmD, founder of the CCM3P private training programmes (La Micronutrition 2.0), member of the teaching committee of the DIUE MAPS at Paris Cité Faculty of Medicine, alongside Professor Vincenzo Castronovo, MD, PhD.
International speakers
An exceptional line-up
For its first edition, the French Metabolic Summit brings together internationally recognised academics and clinicians, combining academic research, clinical expertise and field practice.

Patron of the first edition
Pr Vincenzo Castronovo, MD, PhD
Doctor of medicine, specialist in gynaecology and obstetrics, breast physician and oncologist, doctor of experimental biomedical sciences, honorary professor and founder of the DUE MAPS.
Opening talk on mitochondrial medicine, the fundamental basis for understanding chronic and metabolic disease. He has agreed to be the patron of this first edition.
